Resilience Interpreters is a new department at the Interpreters Institute, which aims to make available current and applied knowledge from the worlds of psychotherapy and research in the field of resilience, trauma, and coping with crisis, stress, and loss. The department offers training programs, workshops, and professional guidance to workers on the front lines of social, educational, and community systems – including doctors, nurses, educational counselors, psychologists, teachers, kindergarten teachers, administrators, early childhood educators, assistants, and local authority employees.

We believe that professionals who meet children, youth, and families every day have a central role in strengthening personal, community, and organizational resilience. When therapeutic knowledge is accessible to them – adapted to language, context, and practice – it becomes a significant source of strength in dealing with distress, building beneficial relationships, and fostering safe and supportive spaces. The Resilience Interpreters Division works to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and the needs in the field – out of deep respect for the work in the field, and a desire to bring about positive change.
